I believe that there is new s/w supplied. however, the modems should be 
backwards compatible with it's command-set. this includes the fax stuff. So I 
think its safe to assume that it will work. no guarantee however. my beta 
model has never been sent off to me due to some unkown problems between the 
guys that should have sent the modem and Taiwan (so they said).
