MA> I, for one, favor a strong policy of separation of church and
MA>state and I am quite disturbed about the campaign funds Democrats
MA>collected at the Buddhist Temple in the last election cycle.
MA> I do not, however, feel that it is inappropiate for any religious
MA>sect to lend an endorsement to a candidate if it desires to do so, nor
MA>for a candidate to appeal to religious organizations for support. To
MA>oppose such would be to oppose the freedoms of these organizations to
MA>express themselves which is something that would fundamentally
MA>compromise their constitutional rights.
MA> In the case of the Buddhist Temple, however, it appears that funds
MA>wer provided by wealthy foreign supporters of the Clintons and Gores
MA>who could not legally contribute to their campaigns and funneled though
MA>others, illegally, to give a thinly veiled impression of legality.
MA>Charges have just been released against Mr. Wong, one of Clinton's
MA>campaign finance chairpersons, in association with these and other
MA>fraudlent practices during Clinton's last campaign. Of course Mr. Wong
MA>has left the country and made himself unavailable for prosecution by
MA>fleeing to Red China, but I still believe the money trail to Clinton
MA>and Gore themselves is being followed by Judge Starr. At the very
MA>least I would like to know exactly how much money, and how much
MA>influence, is involved between Red China and the Clinton
MA>administration.
Mike, the last time I looked in Title 18 United States Code, such conduct
constitutes money laundering which is a felony and is actionable under
RICO.
If Barron Wilhelm Von Klinton and the OwlGore are involved, they should be
indicted. There are those however who believe that the office of the
Presidency should be spared the indignity. My opinion is that the current
occupant of that office disgraced it and not the Speical Prosecutor or some
"right wing conspiracy". Perhaps BrunHillary ought to look not so lovingly
at her "husband" and take a sobering honest look at who she hitched her
wagon to if she wants to blame someone. And then she needs to blame herself
for condoning it for all these years.
