The new Cardinal 56k modem with USR X2 technology chip.
I would like to know if anyone has one, and how is it.
I was at Supercomm 97' and talking to someone at Texas Instrument.
I was told that Texas Instrument will be making the X2 chip for
Cardinal, USR and two other companies. I'm sorry the other two
didn't stick in head, but USR & Cardinal did. I thank 3-COM was
another? After talking with TI, I understand with these four
companies, its about 70% of the modems made today.
