   Didn't realize that Candian Bacin was a John Candy movie, as
I'm not really a movie buff ...just remember that inserted
scene in that movie ...meant nothing...and Mr. Wayne commented
on these dumb geese....it just makes me laugh.

 No did not know you moderate POL_INC echo.    It was one of
those tongue in cheek comments, but then I always get the
POLCORs going whenever I can here.
 
 When I see the international concept of Canadians saying "eh"
at the end of each sentence or whatever they are saying...I
would have to say the vast majority don't say "eh".

I usually hear "huh"s a lot..or  "know you" ... to which I
answer ..no  I don't know.       As a listener to radio
SWL and a operator too....I keep hearing these "huh"s on the
airways, and it is so silly to do this as much as this
You know at the end. ...but back to "eh" where I think it
might have come from is the maritimes and Newfoundland
where there is a rich dialect and speech that seems to
catch like the Irish or Scots or english ...

Interesting to some ...
