For figuring I have a mark on the turntable, not on the mirrors edge. I
start and stop the figuring turns when the mark is at 12h position what is
easiest to see for me.
For every figuring step I put the mirror on the turntable in a different
orientation. So the overlapping starts and stops of the full turns will not
add on one side of the mirror.
