One could say that, while they disagree with Feminist's tactics, the
place that all go to, isn't that different:
" Me, me, me, its all about me ! "
A couple of years ago, Wendy McElroy posted briefly to soc.men, and
was disenchanted, due to her not getting an " our savior " kinda
response, again, in no small part, due to her women-centricness.
Now, if there were a women's group whose " mission statement " said
something along the lines of " As we love and value our men and our
women, we must oppose any movements that seek to divide our women
from our men, no matter the claimed motives for such a thing ",
then I'd be right there with them.
But, even IWF can't get their heads out of their asses long enough
to look up, and notice that men are about half of the people...
Stats from a nominally claimed " gender neutral " group: NARAL:
On their search engine I tried " men's rights ". Zero hits
Then, " father's rights. " Zero hits again.
But, type in " abortion ", and I got 487 hits. 96 for " Now "...
So much for " gender neutral "...
I sent them an e-mail asking about their efforts in support of men.
Is anyone surprised that I got... no response ?
