In a message dated 12-16-14, Ed Vance said to Holger Granholm:
That is five days ago!
GM Ed,
HG> Chicken do not lay eggs, hen do!
EV> line in my messages would automatically know the statement was about
EV> the Female Chicken called a Hen.
In our language a chicken is a young hen that is not mature to lay eggs.
After having been fertilized by a cock it grows up to be a hen and begins
to lay eggs.
EV> When I saw You wrote the word consonant instead of vowel I looked at
EV> the 'e' in the word eggroll and thought You may have been sleepy
EV> when it was written but I see the Time that You typed it was 11:34 .
Yes, please excuse me that I used the wrong expression for the letter
'e'. It dawned on me afterwards but it was too late. The message had
already left my control.
EV> I don't know if the Date/Time in messages gets converted to what
EV> would be the Local Time instead of the Actual Time it was where the
EV> person who wrote the message.
Usually the date/time of the message is the time when you upload the
message but it can in some cases also be the date/time when you wrote it
EV> I figure the Date/Time a BBS receives a new message could be the
EV> BBS's Time instead of where the Time Zone where writer lived.
EV> ?????????? 73
Well, we live on the same side of the international date line so the
date should be OK. Usually I don't pay attention to the time stamp if
there is one.
