Yes they are different operations, but I prefer it to do all that, so. :) I can see , possibly, how this might be a problem with a BBS involved though, if they keep per-user high-water marks differently might cause issues. Stressing might, though. I keep up to 1 years worth of messages and 1,000 messages. If a message base isn't being used that often and ultimately gets down to 0, perhaps there isn't enough interest in it and maybe should be removed from distribution. There's some cases, however, this may not be so useful, like I'm planning to check out the ENGLISH_TUTOR echo for my wife. She's Japanese, and learning English, reading, writing and speaking, and may benefit from FidoNet for some of that. :) )))[Psi-Jack -//- Decker] --- SBBSecho 2.27-Linux* Origin: Decker's Heaven -//- bbs.deckersheaven.com (1:135/371) SEEN-BY: 109/500 116/116 123/5 52 57 140 500 789 6502 124/5013 5014 135/0 371 SEEN-BY: 135/372 140/1 153/757 154/0 10 701 203/0 226/600 227/51 201 229/426 SEEN-BY: 230/0 240/1661 5832 249/303 261/38 280/464 5003 292/854 320/119 SEEN-BY: 322/759 342/11 423/120 633/267 280 640/384 712/550 848 770/1 3634/12 @PATH: 135/371 123/500 154/10 280/464 712/848 633/267 |
