Thanks for your response. I don't have a N-SMM34.INF file?? I did a search

through my .INF files for m34f and found three: OEM1.INF, added S0=0, no

joy. MDMAUS.INF (Australian Modems) and I quote "Specific models moved to

MDM*.INF when correct command set information available"

already contains the S0=0 command.
