In connection with a parachute tent made by the SCA (Society for Creative 
Ananchronism), we were told that parachutes are _highly_ flammable.  Are they 
now fire-proof, or is this still a danger?
    Also, an official SCA publication has printed a roomy arming pavilion 
made of awning canopy.  I'm no longer in the organization (alas!), but if you 
ask your local chapter, or write the board in California, you might get the 
plans.
