As far as I can see, might you have a working Tosser and Editor :-) I have a raw prototype version running, really more of an experment. I don't need to use Yahoo now. I am tossing packets to .MSG format for the time being. I am working developing a really (I hope) robust indexed messagebase. Then I'll move to coding my "dream" editor. :-) !! > Should it include a mailer too? For now I'm using binkd. I may take a shot at implementing a binkp mailer... but probably not, well, we'll see. :-) > RS> I knocked out using MFC... > Uf, I don't guess MFC is portable :-( No, it doesn't have many redeeming qualities... other than being available. I would rather be using QT, but the Windows license is too expensive for me. That is why I am looking at wxWindows... and because there is some peer level support for using wxWindows with DMC via the forums on the Digital Mars site. What a great BBS that is! Walter Bright is in there answering questions every day, though I don't think he has time to get involved in things like wxWindows. I think the wxWindows forum was created by one of the more active participants. -Roger --- Spinone v0.1.79 Win32* Origin: Scudder's Point (1:261/38.11) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 261/38 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
