Nice. What are your goals for the fileticker?

and Editor :-)

I have a raw prototype version running, really more of an experment. I
don't need to use Yahoo now. I am tossing packets to .MSG format for the
time being. I am working developing a really (I hope) robust indexed
messagebase. Then I'll move to coding my "dream" editor. :-)

For now I'm using binkd. I may take a shot at implementing a binkp
mailer... but probably not, well, we'll see. :-)

No, it doesn't have many redeeming qualities... other than being
available. I would rather be using QT, but the Windows license is too
expensive for me. That is why I am looking at wxWindows... and because
there is some peer level support for using wxWindows with DMC via the
forums on the Digital Mars site. What a great BBS that is! Walter Bright
is in there answering questions every day, though I don't think he has
time to get involved in things like wxWindows. I think the wxWindows forum
was created by one of the more active participants.
