She's 1st trimester pregnant and can smell the pitch in Tom's shop in
Tashkent from here in N. California. It's amazing what she can smell these
days. I started to open a can of tuna. Just started with 2 twists of the
can opener. She could smell it 15 seconds later upstairs thru 2 closed
doors, past two dogs. The heat was off, so no air circulation. She didn't
hear it. I don't know how she does it, but the dogs are getting envious of
her nose.
Meanwhile I just realized that cerium oxide probably isn't a good thing to
have floating around the house these days (even though I am pretty neat
about it). So I've ordered some rouge and will be forced to learn how to
be neater. At least it contains an element that a pregnant woman needs in
her system.
