Meng-Shi, at 17:45 on Jul 12 1996, you wrote to All... ML> Does the USA version of the USR Courier have any problems with the ML> Australian dial-tone and etc. ie Does it work with the OZ POTS? For the most part, they work quite well. Mine will occasionally miss dialtone (1 in 10 calls on average), and one particular flash ROM caused the modem to sometimes drop carrier when it heard STD pips on outbound calls (around 3 calls in 10), although the current (April 29) code works just fine in this regard. Both problems were easily solvable by using different values of X though.
