That's the idea: copy a good design but assemble it cheaper... :-(
The look and feel is like a Mackie (even the judges said that) but it
sounds a little bit different. It's some kind of 'muddy' I'd say, but
best is to hear it at your own...

It is.
It's a german company with assembling-facilities in China. Only the
final screws and the check-up are done over here (in Germany) so it
might be called "mf'red in Germany". But the quality is ok, though.
Engineering is done in Germany as well - close to the dutch border.
Ah, the MFR's name is BEHRINGER...
IF you like to get more information just let me know - we sell that
stuff as well, so I have a quite good contact to them.
