Files created for your tosser to read. This way the tosser doesn't have to
attempt to scan out every single area you have. But rather JamNNTPd creates a
file with the specific echo/net areas you actually posted to. With this, your
tosser can be run with a switch that will ONLY scan out the areas specified in
that file. In JamNNTPd's case, it uses echomail.jam. In HPT's case, it uses
echotoss.log. So I needed a converter so HPT would be able to work nicely with
JamNNTPd in this regard.

*.JAM? I don't think we're referring to the same thing. Your JAM areas (4 files
per echo) do not have the *.JAM extension. :)
