Mark, I hate to say this but you really don't know anything about global
warming and are saying not very bright things because of it, PLEASE study
it some before commenting on it!

To be more specific about the mini ice age in europe in a nutshell, is that
the weather pattern pump for northern europe has been the gulf stream, as
the global warming gets worse, the gulf stream slows down and eventually
stops -- that gulf stream has been keeping europe warmer than it would have
been without the gulf stream, so take it away and bingo, it gets colder in
that specific place, but the average global temperature still goes up
because that heat goes somewhere else.

As to cause, you're wrong, while we may or may not be the main cause, we
*have* contributed to it, there is no question in the scientific circles
about that.  On if we can help it, my bet is we can, and I'm not going to
stand around and ruin things if there is something that can be done.

That's not acceptable.  I've always been proactive oriented rather than
reactive -- it tends to raise the chances of keeping oneself alive longer.

Given the description of where you live, it's going to be a LOT quicker
than that for you, you personally may even see the day you can't live there
anymore because of some rather large storm surge.
