I agree that the issues are quite interesting. I'll eventually get to the
book but right now I'm satisfying my fantasy addiction with the sequel to
Gregory Maguire's 'Wicked'   'Son of a Witch' and  the continuing volume of
George R R Martin's great saga 'A Feast of Crows'. They also re-released
some of Martin's earlier works 'Fevre Dreams' and 'Dying of the Light' so
it looks like Diamond's book will gather an additional layer of dust .
