Probably not a good idea to have a protracted debate as to
which lanugage or 'platform' is better that what other language
or 'platform' in this echo.

I've been here in the C echo off and on for many years now. At
the begining my interest was that C programmers often knew ASM
and I had done some ASM programming. In time I learned a bit
about C programming and could see that it might be faster to
develop larger apps using C. I then discovered AWK, in part,
because of the 'shared authorship' between C and AWK.

It is my opinion that with ASM, C, and AWK I should be able to
do just about anything. I'm certain someone could prove me
wrong, they always seem to be able to.

My point is that since this is the C echo and I do believe C is
a worthy language I really don't care enough to learn new
languages that I don't think I really need to use.
