Hello Bob -

I don't know what the agenda is and haven't the inclination to
try to sort it out right now. Each time someone 'suggests'
being a point and I resist the 'suggestion' turns into inuendo
that I'm not 'into fidonet' deep enough to suit 'whoever'.
Extremely peculiar at this time since the people recommending
it also are in favor of elisting the echos?

I'm not looking for more middle men between me and the echos. I
call when it suits me and have no problems logging in to
multiple BBS if need be. I can bypass log jams and BBS that
delete my messages (they can/do/have).

The pecking order, chain of command, or whatever else FIDO has
to offer is of no interest to me.

BS> - but that was back in the days of 2400 kbps modems...

Back in those days I was co-authoring a BBS and supporting same
as sig section leader on CIS. I had created for that BBS a
'pull' system for public messages not unlike QWK messaging that
did not require a heirarchy to maintain it and no one person
could shut it down.
