The Stew-Mac 5 way switch is a great deal higher quality than the OEM stuff 
that comes on them, but more importantly, in position 3 (Middle), you are 
combining the bridge and neck pickups. Very sweet sounds, kinda like a very 
warm Telecaster.
Usually I hated the 3 position, as it was too weak and thin, but this is 
definatly a joy.... Definatly worthwhile tone...
