grant monies.  As scientists they should be objective but given the
political nature of nearly everything these days I'm not sure they can be
anymore.

As for a reality show, I'd let Al Gore pick 3 scientists and Rush Limbaugh
pick 3 and let them argue.  Might be fun.  Science, tho, immho, shouldn't
be about arguments so much but obtaining quantifiable results.  Otherwise
it is just a faith-based system.

OTOH, if the science does not exist, one result is exactly the political
maneuvering we are seeing.  Al Gore is first and foremost a politician. 
Later this summer when they are relatively sure it is hot a bunch of
scientific musicians will join the money raising mob.

I am 14' above MSL and I'll let you know when I'm starting to sweat. It's
not been this record low setting month tho.
