1237cfd0adcf c_echo Hello Jasen - CA>> --8<--cut BS>>> I could certainly also handle DOS, but if there's a BS>>> willing volunteer, I might let someone who's more BS>>> familiar with the OpenDOS project do that one. CA>> AFAIK the 'opendos project' is now the 'freedos project'. JB> opendos is one of the tings that happened to DR-DOS, JB> (Netware-DOS is another) freedos is completely different. FreeDOS is whatever they can find that seems to be dos-ish. Many of the external 'command' binaries weren't actually written to be a part of _any_ DOS but the authors decided to 'donate' them to the project. JB> I've never heard of an "opendos project" This is a bit nit-picky isn't it? OK, let me put it this way. The source code was available for OpenDOS and, at one time, people were tweaking it and sharing their changes. Now that there is FreeDOS people seem to be tweaking FreeDOS code and sharing _that_. I don't know of any group actively tweaking OpenDOS. Better? > > , , > o/ Charles.Angelich \o , > __o/ > / > USA, MI < \ __\__ ___ * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ...
