THanks for throwing that in there. I find that the autombile is the
lousiest place to try to critically listen to music anyway.
Lowest common denominator is fine for mixing,
but the automobile is not a good listening environment no matter how you
slice it.
As I said to him, I've little interest in the autosound industry, or any
of the goings on with it.
I'mn more interested in copping a better sound for communications gear
while on the road,
as it's far more important to be able to communicate on the road than it
is to me to have
kicking stereo.

This is true, also. Most folks, if their vehicle doesn't have what they
want,
just go grab a tape deck or in-dash cd player and slap it in, if that.
HIgh-end car audio is just high bucks, as far as I can tell.
