I am sure that there will always be students that are not interested. It is
up to the teacher to try as many different learning styles to get their
attention. As for programming, It too, is not for everyone. It is not a
panacea. I still contend, though, that it goes far faster and deeper into
the child's mind to teach orderly thought, argument, self confidence and
logic than any other subject.
If the child is still unmotivated or uninterested then it is up to the school
system to find ways to picque the child's mind. This does not forego the
idea that the student needs to be prodded a bit to get with the picture and
apply itself....
