Hi Peggy,
To download with Xmodem you need to tell {COMMO} to start it. It
doesn't start automatically the way Zmodem does.
Tell the host system (such as CompuServe) to send the file (with
Xmodem). It will tell you to start the Xmodem at your end and to
press return when the transfer is finished.
At that point you press the PgDn key in {COMMO} to get the protocol
menu. Select "X" and then enter the name you want the file to have
on your computer. Press return and the transfer will start.
When {COMMO} rings the alarm, you can press return to tell
CompuServe you're finished.
To use the B Plus protocol, you need to download the B Plus program
from CompuServe. Instructions for this are in COMMO.DOC under
"Uploading/Downloading."
