Twenty-odd years ago, Olivetti had a ten-storey office building in
Frankfurt.  The name of the company was picked out in large relief letters
on the building.  Behind the building as a large expanse - half a football
field or so - of rough grassland.

A kestrel used to sit in the 'O' and watch for movement.  About every
quarter hour, on average - success every time.

It was even out of the rain when the weather was bad.
