Both sides are effing bonkers. I have no idea what drives men in armchairs
to dream of glory through the massive utilization of violence at other's
(both "theirs & "ours") expense.

The truly sad thing is how many nasty descents into brutishness have
occurred in situations where neither side wanted it to "go as far as
it did".
