The video is on-line, and it looks pretty clearly like he was set up.  The
procedure was more like the Spanish Inquisition version than the CIA
version.  The guy doing it put a cloth over the radio clown's EYES instead
of over his mouth and nose!  He then poured water down the nose, and the
radio guy (who was doing it because he LOST a contest, and who expressed a
desire to quit BEFORE any water was poured at all) was stupid enough to
have his mouth OPEN while that was happening.  He wound up taking in water
through both the nose and the mouth.  That is a lot different from the CIA
taking care to cover the nose and mouth so that NO water is ingested.  The
CIA also used people who were trained in how to do the procedure safely and
effectively.  The guy doing it laughed afterward, when asked a question
about the procedure, and admitted that he was a "rookie" who had never done
this before!
