Bearing in mind that I'm using TFW for both types of calls (telnet
and direct-dialed) ...
If I set TFW to use the modem (as it is now), it'll be holding the
COM port when I try to use AOL; and AOL will complain it can't use
the port.
If I set TFW to use telnet, but AOL's not up and running, I'll get
the messages about not being able to open/init the "port" and TFW
will open with "invalid port" on the status line (something I can
live with, BTW).
