That is also a great idea.  I'm not familiar with fetchmail, but from what
I was just reading about it, looks like you can use it in conjunction with
custom programs to move mail around for things like your BBS.  I'm not
aware of a way to do this with WWIV BBS software, but I'm sure it could be
done in some form or another.  

The best part is, Google is your spam blocking engine and you don't have to
deal with that major headache.
