I foundat out too, CLive. I have an early Optima v34. I originally had a VFC
under the sysyop deal, but got an upgrade to v34. However, I have found out 
that
I cant get such a simple upgrade to go to 56k. Something to do with the clock
speed of the modem as I understand it.
Anyway, I wasn't impressed with the price I wasquoted to get an upgrade - I
might as well keep the modem I have ,and get another one.
