Same here.  Depends if we're talking brandnames.  The generic pop is the

It's been hot here the last couple of days.  Other then that it has been
cooler then average so far up till now.

Although it doesn't often get that hot it sounds more or less the same as
here except the so-called winter is more a rainy season but there is
potential for snow here at sea level.  Usually it is the higher elevations
that get a more traditional winter.

Most of Canada only gets two distinct seasons; winter and that brief 'other
season' others call summer.  :-)
