I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to use a program called NetSerial to virtualize the com ports for their BBS? I just ran across it on www.pcmicro.com. The one thing I do like about this is it runs on Windows, thus removing the need for me to have a separate OS/2 VM for my BBS. I'm not sure I want to spend $90 just to save from running an additional VM. I'm just thinking about trying to simplify my setup a bit if it makes sense. - Mark --- WWIVToss v.1.40 Registered* Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 550 620 848 @PATH: 261/1304 266/512 140/1 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
