| subject: | ATM sharpie test with sub diameter mirror |
From: "Jerry B. Hillman" To: Reply-To: "Jerry B. Hillman" Hi all, I researched the archives and couldn't find a definitive answer so I am going to the list with this question. I am using a sub diameter tool with this mirror. I'm working exclusively TOT. I know I can control the depth of the curve with the length of the stroke. I am primarily working COC with 25% overhang. The question: When I do a sharpie test, the lines dissappear first in the center and then in an evenly expanding circle till the lines are completely gone over the entire surface by the time I have made about three trips around the barrel. Logic tells me that this is what I should expect with a sub diameter tool. Experience tells me that logic might lie. Can someone verify this for me?
