Well, our mighty big talking trade (or it that traitor) representatives have
given us another bow in our burgeoning quiver.
U.S./Japan trade talks broke off this weekend over automobiles mostly, but
the U.S. is going to impose STIFF tarrifs on Japanese imports, including
autos and electronics.
Here's the cincher: Japan is going to file a claim in the World Trade
Organization (WTO created under GATT) that this is an illegal action by the
U.S. (which it is under GATT, which we are now under) and seek relief.
When the WTO rules our country cannot impose tarrifs on Japan, (we will have
to repeal the tarrifs and refund any funds received and could suffer heavy
fines and/or continuing fees for doing such) we will have yet another piece
of evidence to present that our country has surrendered its sovereignty.
