Your description of your son's behavior sounds like ADD. However, the entire list of things you described (the hypertonia, small size, etc.) ring a bell - I just can't remember which bell. There is some syndrome which matches the physical symptoms you mentioned. Does your son have elfin features and an unusually high voice?
