If it's not fun for you, you should probably pass. I set both Bluewave and Silver Xpress for the experience, with only one user interested in each. They both came to me from another Maximus board in my net that shut down, and had already automated their upload/downloads with scripts in their comm software. The door generates the numbers next to the internal Maximus names dynamically in the tag/untag screens. You don't define "area 179", but the user can type "179" instead of "FIDO.Bluewave" to select it. SD> From the discussions I've had with my users, they seem content SD> with Maximus's QWK setup. I have truncated names (9 char max) in 2.x and full tagnames in 3.x. You have to type "AUTOMOBILE_RACING" to tag it for the internal QWK. You may have migrated something over while upgrading? .\\ike --- GoldED 2.50+* Origin: -=( The TechnoDrome )=- Austin,TX 512-327-8598 33.6k (1:382/61) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 14/250 18/200 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 140/1 222/2 226/0 SEEN-BY: 236/150 249/303 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1410 1418 SEEN-BY: 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 396/45 633/104 260 267 285 690/682 734 SEEN-BY: 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 2905/0 @PATH: 382/61 140/1 261/38 633/260 267 |
