 CCC and WPA did great things.  Gawd knows we need a LOT of infrastructure
improvements, but I can hear the Teapots yelling about federal funding for
jobs?  Get real, not gonna happen.

Those programs took a lot of heat back in the '30s, but now i suspect it would
be even worse.
