Sometimes you wanna say screw it, and sometimes you don't . .. because
you realize that you set a precedent against what you say and try to
follow.

..and basically, the existing Abracadata inventory is on closeout, the
'rights' to the A2 stuff didn't come with it.. oddly enough.

It was basically one of those deals where it goes bankrupt, gets sold
off at auction, the original owner buys it at firesale price because
no one else was interested, and then it's 'been handed over to someone
else who says "when this stuff is gone, it's gone" (but I don't have
any of the Apple II stuff - that was discontinued a long time ago),
and why would they bother doing anything with it if there's no money
in it?

Odd thing to me, it's probably a marketing thing - "buy now or never
