Found it and perused it.  The byte sequences are found in a couple of .BATs
in the archive, but not in my EXEs (yet - looks like they are PKLITEd).

Do you know if a patched door obviates the need for the patched readers? 
If not, I'm stuck with my current fix anyhow.

Yep.  If he fixed it, I haven't found it.  Don't even recall more than 1
Max version available.  The Max version wasn't listed in the Snooze when he
was passing out free keys years ago.  The mail door link at santronics.com
doesn't go anywhere and there no doors in the pricelist at the site.  It's
only here because one user asked for it when he showed up here after his
favorite board went down.
