I once supervised an autistic employee. Even though he could be quite a
pain at times, the one thing I took from that  experience was that he had
this ability to take the everyday mundane events and treat them as
something new and wonderful. Each day now I try to focus on one small thing
and really see how good that experience is. I don't know if it can help
anyone else but it's changed my perspective on things quite a bit.
