OpenXP does a fine job of it. It lists the messages in order (and "links" them
if the msgid and replyid are present) of the flow of the conversation.

So, even if someone replies to a message prior to someone else, but only
arrives later (no matter what part of the world), it will be *first* in the
thread tree.
