I trust you meant a "series" of text files -- or you meant that
you are writing A serious text file on the subject... Either way,
I would be very interested in seeing your finished product. A
good place to share it on-line would be on another echo moderated
by Harvey & myself -- CULT_WATCH, which is part of the MJCN and
can be accessed as well through FamilyNet.

That's the way it SHOULD be -- G-d created something awesome that
was incredibly simple, yet man felt the the need to dig in and
make it far more complicated than it should be. I think that was
in part due to a feeling that simplicity could not be believed --
therefore, it should NOT work... I think it also was complicated
by man because there's always been those who need to control others
(even among "religious leaders" -- thank G-d not all leaders are so
motivated!). Of course, there are those who'd have you work your way
into Heaven: a complicated Salvation message would be just the ticket
to make you sweat on your quest to reach those Pearly Gates!
Anyway, Keep on preserving the beauty and simplicity of the Gospel
-- and persevere as you share the Salvation message of G-d!
About blood Scriptures, don't forget Genesis 3:21 -- the first time
blood was shed (to create garments to cover Adam & Eve -- to cover
their sin) ... And don't forget my favorite, Leviticus 17:11 :
    'For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given
    it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for
    it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement.'
