subject: Quotes Window

RW>VS>RW>I'm having a small problem with the window size in Quicken Quotes
RW>VS>RW>using Windows Ver 4 on the CD, Release 6. I haven't been able to
RW>Thanks Vernon. I've tried that, or a variation of the same thing. The
RW>window height is too large to raise the bar far enough up to see the
RW>bottom. Hitting 'alt, space' pops up the "restore, move, size,.."
RW>window and the borders can be moved using the keyboard arrow keys.
RW>This is handy when the title bar has disappeared off the top of the
RW>screen as has happened to me. While the border does change position
RW>on the screen, the position of the screen inside the box did not.
RW>It still has the same relative position on the bottom and right hand
RW>sides. But I was successful in adjusting the top, (recovering the title
RW>bar) and the left side (for viewing the stock symbols). I wonder if
RW>it is the way the windows size is defined in the .ini file. Quicken
RW>quotes is the only window in quicken that is defined that way, at
RW>least on my computer.
Sorry for the bad advice. I guess I was attaching
too much importance to your original statement that you were
fairly new to windows. I use ver 4 but am not using Quicken
quotes so I cannot really help.
        Good luck. TTYL Vernon
