Hello Steve!

SM> Has anyone had any experience with the carry-on air conditioners

I live aboard in a marina in St. Petersburg, FL, and I see many of these
units. However, from what I hear, my arrangement is better and cheaper. I
have a $200 5000 btu wall unit (from Sams) with a piece of plywood cut to fit
the AC and my companionway. Takes me 10 seconds to put the AC in place and
fit the plywood piece around it. It cools better than those carry-on units,
and is much cheaper. The water drains into the cockpit and out the drains.
Later........Sandy
