you may want to call the hospitals in the area of the birth place and ask if 
they had any births on or around the suspected date of birth.... also if you 
call the social security admn. they may be able to help you in the search, 
and if not then call the county clerks office in the town of birth..... if 
this cant be done then call the adoption agency that sent your husband the 
adoption
papers and they should be able to help you...
        ( you may have to obtain a lawyer ) to help out with some of the 
legalities but to fiind a loved one the cost is well worth it !!!!!
once you obtain a birth name or ssn simply call the ss admn. and they will 
help you locate you son or daughters last known address....
also you can goto the post office once you find out a name and state and town
for $10. will provide you with a complete address .....
