Universal programmer sounds like something made for pager dealers
and techs.
try phoning motorola or look in the trade mags for who makes
them.
Motorola makes some nice programmers for their commercial radios,
pagers and phones.  But the programmer and software is not cheap
and you need various cables to connect the radio or pager to the
programmer.

Interesting.  Guess a.t.&t. has bothered to put some bells and
whistles on their network.
Oh Bell cellular and presumably our a band carrier, can tel will
be changing the digital technology used on their digital
networks.
As a result, bell Cellular needs to replace all the digital
phones on their network in 1997.  Wow that will cost a dollar or
two.
Probably also explains why they have not really pushed digital
tht much.
Heard the new technology in Canada will be incompatible with what
is used in the u.s. for digital.  great eh?  well time will tell.
