The 49ers traded Dave Neuman to the Jets for saying:
 DN> Talk to me when the 97-98 season is over and I've won our bet.
Not in this or any lifetime, Dave. Remember, this is a two-parter and New 
Jersey did it's part by pulling off such a stupid trade (They got rid of the 
center that you've built up so much and acquired a guy that you tore down so 
much when he was temporarily traded to Boston). Boston took care of its 
biggest hole (Knight's not the greatest player in the world, however, he 
should be an improvement on what Boston had last year) and they're going to 
free up several million THIS YEAR so don't count your *victory* so soon. As I 
predicted before this all happened, they're doing everything that they can to 
accelerate their trip back to the playoffs.
