Thanx, Bobby. It only seems fair. Had I picked regulars who crashed and 
went to hospital, or newcomer regular wanna-be types without enough Mojo 
in the points bank to have a provisional when it rained ... then I'd 
take my lumps (what else is new) and whimper privately where none can 
see. Although I had not realised that Ffellowes was still in on a provo. 
I'd have done better to leave him alone since he damned near won the 
thing.

You decision is one of those common sense deals that will likely only 
apply at Watkins Glen since it seldom rains on race days at Sears Point.

I also note that I am back to my poison pen picks. Not last but pretty 
consistently next-to-last which does little to get me out the cellar. I 
hope that we're not going to have our own "Chase" this year. Or, have 
you even thought about it?

Maybe next year we could do something like that - suggested format:

Pick Three Points Leader starts with 100 points, second with 90 points, 
third with 80 points, etc.

Selections for 1st, 2nd, 3rd to come only from those drivers actually in 
the chase (Top 10 plus any within 400 points of leader), Pole picks 
could come from anyone entered in the race, bonus points awarded as in 
the regular season, might win wild-card - I dunno, but, I'd favour 
making _any_ qualified driver eligible to be picked. Mostly because I 
feel that there will be some drivers not in the chase with a real good 
chance of winning on any given day.

Just some food for thought.
