A theory is "wrong" if one tries to go beyond questions that it
can't answer. But when applied to its domain it's "right".  Ray
optics knows nothing about wave phenomena but it certainly is right in many
important applications.  Also wave optics predicts ray optics.

BTW, relativity and quantum mechanics are combined in areas such as quantum
electrodynamics and quantum field theory.
